Because it was formerly a popular DC area amusement park in the early 1900s to the 1960s, the still-standing structures being used today are a clear symbol of centuries-old entertainment.   The Bumper Car Pavilion is used as a dance hall and bandshell. The Cuddle Up (formerly a Tea Cup ride) is now used as a pavilion as well.
